Hello, my name is Anna and this is my first blog post! I am going to be using this blog to talk about my college adventures at Liberty University and my time at home as well! To start off, I am going to share 15 facts about myself!

1. I am a Christian and accepted Christ as my savior when I was 13
2. I am a Freshmen at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia
3. I love poetry, I got introduced to slam poetry my senior year and it changed my life. 
4. Through poetry, I found out what I want to be and that is a high school English teacher
5. I have one sister who is 22, will be living in Wisconsin in the fall and teaching as a high school English teacher!
6. My passion in life is to make a difference wherever I go and impact lives
7. My favorite color is purple
8. My favorite season is fall
9. I love coffee, at this point I swear it runs through my veins
10. I love the beach and if you asked me if I could go on any vacation, it would be somewhere with a beach!
11. I want to be known as an empathetic and compassionate person in all I do
12. I love to read, sit me down with a coffee and a book and you won't hear a word out of me for hours!
13. I love volunteering
14. I work at a retirement home and it is the most rewarding job I could ever ask for. The residents are so sweet and I love hearing their stories 
15. I love hearing people's stories, I believe everyone is the way they are for a reason and that we need to be kind to everyone because everyone is fighting a battle
